No. Interwow captures session data asynchronously without blocking page rendering. The recorder only captures DOM mutations and user events — it does not take screenshots or transmit full page assets. The performance impact is negligible and well within acceptable thresholds for all major performance auditing tools.
By default, recordings are stored for 30 days on the Starter plan and 12 months on Growth and Enterprise plans. You can extend retention periods, download recordings as video files, or integrate with your own data warehouse for unlimited long-term storage.
