A company built by product people, for product people — obsessed with helping teams truly understand their users.
Interwow exists to help product teams understand their users deeply, make better decisions, and build products people love.
We believe great products are built through empathy — not just gut instinct or raw numbers. The analytics industry has long been dominated by tools that tell you what happened, but rarely why. We set out to change that by putting qualitative context alongside quantitative data in one unified platform.
Our vision is a world where every product decision — from a small UI tweak to a major feature launch — is grounded in a genuine understanding of real user behavior. Whether you're a two-person startup or an enterprise with millions of users, you deserve the same quality of insight.
We're relentlessly focused on making behavioral analytics accessible, actionable, and privacy-respecting. That means no jargon-heavy dashboards, no opaque data practices, and no bloated feature sets you'll never use.
Interwow was founded in 2020 by Alex Rivera and Priya Nair — two product managers who had spent years wrestling with the same problem. They had access to Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and a dozen other tools, yet they still couldn't answer the most important question: why are users dropping off?
After one too many heated product review meetings where everyone had data but nobody had answers, Alex and Priya quit their jobs and started building. Their first product was a simple session recording tool — lightweight, privacy-compliant, and easy to install. Within six months it had 400 customers and a waiting list.
Over the following years, they added heatmaps, user surveys, interview scheduling, and a behavioral analytics engine that ties it all together. In 2022, they raised a $3M seed round. In early 2024, a $12M Series A. Today, Interwow serves more than 10,000 companies across 42 countries — from bootstrapped indie hackers to publicly traded SaaS businesses — and the team has grown to 85+ people working fully remotely around the world.
Every decision starts with the user's needs. We regularly talk to customers, read support tickets, and watch session recordings of our own product.
We're open and honest — with our customers about what our product can and can't do, and with each other about challenges, priorities, and trade-offs.
We have a strong bias toward action. We'd rather ship something imperfect and learn from real users than spend months perfecting a feature in a vacuum.
User data is treated with deep respect. We collect only what's necessary, give users full control, and never sell data to third parties — ever.
